hurricane shutters

After threatening to do it since we moved here in 2003, we finally sucked it up and had hurricane shutters installed. Aren’t they pretty? The 1/3 bahama shutters for the dining room bay window are due in a few days, which should really polish off the look.
We figured, Hugo destroyed the area in ’89, so another bad one has to be coming soon. I hate thinking like that, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Better for our insurance.
Peace of mind.
